To enhance the level of security offered to our Internet Banking customers, the Bank will offer a free SMS Payment Authentication service for customers performing Transfer to Anyone and BPAY® payments.


While completing a Transfer to Anyone or BPAY®, the Internet Banking service sends a randomly generated one-off unique authorisation code via SMS to your mobile phone. Once you have received this code, you will be asked to enter it into the Internet Banking payment screen to authorise and complete the payment.

Your security and privacy is our priority, and is protected by the same high security standards used throughout the Australian banking industry.

We’ve also enhanced the logon security, by having a keypad on the Internet Banking screen that requires you to use your mouse to enter your Password, making it more difficult for others to track your keystrokes.
